On Monday, September 13, 2010 GFI Digital acquired Quality Copiers of Perryville, Missouri.   GFI will now service Cape Girardeau, Sikeston, Poplar Bluff and Farmington, Missouri. With this acquisition, GFI will add 12 employees to their team of 155.  Steve Lankford, former owner of Quality Copiers will continue to support GFI’s new customers in the Southern Missouri area. “We are excited to have Steve on our team. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.”

ST. LOUIS RAMS TO AWARD $20,000 TO LOCAL OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEERS AS PART OF THE GEORGIA FRONTIERE COMMUNITY QUARTERBACK AWARD PROGRAM

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Rams and team sponsor GFI are joining together to recognize outstanding community volunteers through the Georgia Frontiere Community Quarterback Award program. 

To nominate a volunteer, visit stlouisrams.com/community and download a nomination form.  All nominations must be received by September 10, 2010 to be considered. Once nominations are received, the Rams and GFI will engage a panel of community leaders to help them select the ten finalists and award a total of $20,000 to local non-profits in recognition of outstanding volunteer service.

The program was renamed in honor of the late Rams’ owner and chairman, Georgia Frontiere, in 2008, after previously being known as the Community Quarterback Awards.  Since the program’s inception in 2000, the Rams have donated more than $190,000 to community groups through this initiative. 

The Georgia Frontiere Community Quarterback Award honors individuals who exemplify leadership, dedication, and a commitment to improving the community in which they live. Non-profit organizations are encouraged to nominate individuals, age 13 or over, who serve local charities in a volunteer capacity only and receive no monetary compensation for their efforts.  All finalists will be recognized at a special luncheon at Russell Training Center and honored on the field at a 2010 Rams’ home game.
