The relationship between GFI and St Louis real estate powerhouse Coldwell Banker Gundaker was born in 2000 after GFI approached CBG with an opportunity to replace all of CBG’s owned HP printers with new networked printers.

Coldwell Banker Gundaker had 113 printers installed in 52 locations, with little usage tracking. The very strength of the organization, its decentralized arrangement of independent real estate entrepreneurs, also presented a keen challenge.
 
GFI initiated a comprehensive assessment process to determine the right solution for CBG. The process of gathering and assessing baseline information required a nine-month investment on both sides. GFI went to every CBG location to inventory equipment, capture volume and speak to end users regarding current equipment and what GFI could do to streamline CBG’s workflow. 
Solution objectives were to:

  • Lower output cost
  • Reduce amount of invoices
  • Manage print cost
  • Save money
  • Relieve CBG’s IT department of troubleshooting and printers maintenance duties

The legacy system Coldwell Banker Gundaker had cobbled together to meet its growing and decentralized needs was costing over $21k every month.
 
GFI customized a comprehensive plan that included a significant cost savings, increased productivity, and new technology.
 
GFI installed 102 Ricoh printers and found the right solution for Coldwell Banker Gundaker, lowering their monthly costs to just over $13k, and saving the client over $95k per year, and roughly $285k over three years.
